PAM OF DARTINGTON
Dog and Apples About Pam Yarner Beacon
Welcome to my website. I'm Devon born and bred and have lived in Dartington for decades. Now retired, formerly I taught art and drawing to children and adults. I'm a keen gardener. Where I live, and where I have travelled, has inspired my art. It still does. I've given a number of exhibitions and won various prizes.

Twirly Tree My Travels Happy Fox
I have done voluntary work with VSO in the West Indies, teaching English, Art and Crafts. Due to the paucity of materials on the island of Montserrat I explored leathercraft, aided by a Rastafarian shoemaker and a local tannery. On my return to the UK I set up my own business and became a member of the ADL. I have travelled across America, Canada and South Africa, doing art-related projects.

Walk Under Beacon My Art Eight Panels
In my paintings I use acrylic, pen and ink and oils. Many are framed and under glass, but some are photographed without the frames. Sizes vary greatly. Categories you can access from the links to the left, though they do crossover. Nature pictures are often ideal for children's rooms. Pictures for children are suitable for all children aged from 1-100. My paintings start from £50.
